They operate independently or in synchronization with other IKEA smart products and come with personalization options. The sensors can be utilized in various ways throughout the house:
PARASOLL – Door and Window Sensor
- Discrete Mounting: Designed for discreet installation on windows and doors.
- Real-Time Alerts: Notifies users when access points are opened or closed, alerting them to any unexpected openings and potential break-ins.
VALLHORN – Wireless Motion Sensor
- Indoor and Outdoor Use: Can be installed both indoors and outdoors.
- Lighting Activation: Activates lights upon detecting movement, offering personalized lighting with adjustable color and intensity settings.
BADRING – Water Leak Sensor
- Water Areas Installation: Installed in areas where water is used.

Seamless Integration with IKEA Home Smart System
By connecting the sensors to the DIRIGERA hub, they can trigger other smart devices and send notifications to your mobile phone, all managed through the IKEA Home smart app, even remotely.
Future-Proof with Zigbee Technology
All three smart sensors are based on Zigbee software. Connected to the IKEA Home smart system, these products will receive updates to offer more functions and options over time. PARASOLL and VALLHORN are available from January 2024, followed by BADRING in April 2024.
