LG Electronics has unveiled its latest line of home appliances with the highest energy efficiency at this year’s IFA trade show. Designed in response to the European Union’s goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050, these appliances are setting new standards in the industry.
The newest LG washing and drying machines are leading the way in energy efficiency. The washing machine features a new drum movement powered by the AI DD™ motor, ensuring impeccably clean laundry while using minimal energy. The machine intelligently adjusts the motor’s spin speed in real-time, contributing to an impressive energy rating of A-55%, while also preventing clothes from tangling or twisting.
Washing Machine Reducing Microplastic Emissions
Additionally, the new LG washing machine comes equipped with the Microplastic Care cycle, which reduces the release of microplastics from laundry. It also features ezDispense™, which automatically doses the optimal amount of detergent for each wash.
At the same time, the new energy-efficient dryer boasts an energy rating of A+++. Both of these latest LG laundry appliances are equipped with AI innovations: the AI DD motor and AI Wash feature in the washing machine provide enhanced fabric recognition and strong performance, while the AI Dry™ function in the dryer ensures precise moisture detection for optimal drying across various fabrics and clothing types.
The washing machine can also automatically adjust cycle options and temperatures based on usage patterns, and it can reorganize the cycle order on the control panel based on frequency of use, offering users a more convenient experience.
High-Efficiency Refrigerators with Premium Design
Offering the lowest energy consumption of any refrigerator currently on the market, the new LG bottom-freezer refrigerator has an energy rating of A-25%, contributing to kitchen aesthetics with its sleek flat-door design. Additionally, the new model operates at only 29 dB, creating a quieter kitchen atmosphere.
